Sarah's and Alan's books are always fantastic, and this one is no exception. Alan's illustrations add a touch of humour and Sarah's writing strikes just the right balance between informative and fun.
I love that this isn't just farm animals, just wild animals, just pets; the animals are all Irish but there's all sorts in here, so every animal lover will find something fun. The facts are really interesting, too - personally I think the Ancient Egyptians had the right idea and we should bring back the death penalty for people who kill cats, but that's just me!
Kids will enjoy copying Alan's illustrations and doing the activities provided. A great package.
