Based on the films, this collection of cards features questions based on various aspects of the stories.  It's published by Simon & Schuster in the US and by Insight Editions in the UK.

The cards, which are larger than playing cards but would still fit into most hands, come packed in a cloth bag. The bag has the outline of Hogwarts embroidered on it. A drawstring keeps the cards safe and contained when not in use. There's also a book which contains all the questions for quick reference.

The questions are divided into eight colour coded catagories; Identity, Relationships, Values & Beliefs, Battling your Fears, Personal Growth, Experiencing Loss and Flights of Fancy. Each card has a short passage about a part of the story and a question related to it. For instance, a short passage about Dumbledore pairs with a question about people in your life who may have mentored you at some point. The book also has behind the scenes snippets and pictures of props or scenes from the movies. 

(Note this is an American publication, so the first film is always referred to as The Sorcerer's Stone rather than the British Philosopher's.)

The backs of the cards tell you which category they're from, so there would be no surprise if you were dealing them out. However, if you took them from the bottom of the deck each time, you wouldn't know what you were getting until it was in your hand.

I love the little bits of information in the book; I didn't know a lot of the behind the scenes info before and they make the movies even more interesting. 

This is a great set with some really thoughtful questions, and I look forward to going through them to learn more about myself and my friends.
