There's been a murder in Storybook Land! A Goodie has gone bad and it's up to you to swap, steal or search for the evidence, seek out the suspects and catch the culprit in order to scupper the other sleuths, and win this game of murder!
There's more than one way to catch a killer though. So what's it gonna be? Good Cop or Bad Cop? These two game versions come with their own set of rules and tactics to crack the case and finger your suspect, but will you use fair play or FOUL PLAY?
Hi all! Welcome to a slightly different type of review.
We were kindly supplied with this game in order to test it out and see what we think of it. On first read through, we found the instructions a little confusing, especially as there are instructions for two variations of the same game; however, once we started playing one variation and looking at the instructionsa s we went, they made a lot more sense. We were very quickly able to play a proper game.
The cards are nice and sturdy and held up well to being held and pushed and pulled around. The variety of clues and suspects means that there's a lot of replayability in the game. We preferred Good Cop Rules but I can see how Bad Cop Rules would be fun, and I expect we'll come around to them sooner or later.
This was a lot of fun, will continue to be a lot of fun, and I'll be watching out for more to play. There's currently one other in the range and I hope they'll produce more! It's great fun. Really worth a go.
Don't forget to check out the other stops on the tour!
