What a gorgeous story. I love the way Mouse's friends rally around her, and the very brave decision Mouse takes near the end was really kind.

The illustration style is beautiful. It almost looks like cutouts layered on, really simple and nice but still with plenty to talk about. Mouse's little house is so cute, I can already see kids trying to make their own.

This is going to be a great bedtime read for children, a really nice, gentle story with a good message.
