The All Seeing Heart Oracle by Saira Hunjan

This is a deck like no other, with jaw-droppingly original and beautiful artwork by visionary artist Saira Hunjan. The hearts are protective beings or talismans, each set in a heart temple. Using these cards to activate your heart center, you can forge a bond with the Divine and open yourself to healing and transformation. The labyrinthine doorways, steps and passages depicted on the cards indicate the potential of passing through the heart temples into new opportunities and understanding.

Saira practices a devotional path; her practice is channeling and creating artwork, which comes with pure love straight from the Source. To bridge the gap between the physical and the metaphysical worlds, she uses meditation to reach a deep transcendent connection that allows her to translate her experiences into her unique artwork. Her aim with this deck is to pass on the love, support, strength and courage she receives from the Divine masculine and feminine – with Shiva and Shakti. When you sit with Saira’s oracle card deck, you’ll feel the cards alive and pulsating with information and potential.

One of my favourite things about tarot is the artwork; seeing how different people envision the cards. I don't have a lot of experience with oracles (yet!) but I can safely say this is one of my favourite things to look at.

This is a relatively esoteric deck, with plenty of regerences to our higher selves and guiding spirits and others in that vein. I enjoyed reading the guidebook - it stretched out my brain in the best way! There's some great background on how Saira came to create the cards, how to work with them, and some suggested spreads to use. For oracles, I usually go with one card at a time, but the spreads look intriguing!

Following the spreads are the card descriptions. Each card gets one page, with a small image of the card, a dsecription, keywards and a longer explanation, and finally what's called a 'heart practice'; a meditation, journaling prompt or other way to work more deeply with the card. There's no reversed meaning, but the deck isn't designed for it anyway. There's a lot of information here - I've been working with them for a while and I still haven't absorbed it all!

Now, the cards themselves.

The cards contain only white and willow pattern blue, what my childhood storybook called 'softest, sadest blue'. The overall design is of a temple, with the subject of each card in its own alcove or antechamber. The back features this design:

Each card has its name printed across the bottom. The designs are so intricate, I have literally lost time following the details! These would not be out of place framed and displayed on your walls - I'm tempted to buy a second deck so I can display a few!

Here's a small sample of these amazing cards;

This isn't the deck for a quick check in about your day or a fast forecast; this is a deck to reach for when you have time to really think about things, to explore yourself on a deep level. It's certainly one I'll be using when I need some serious self care.

The All Seeing Heart Oracle is available now. I received a free copy and am giving an honest review.
